I'm a sfw digital artist from Argentina and I spend my days playing videogames, drawing animals, and hanging out with my friends and lover. I enjoy everything that has to do with creating and maybe that's why I'm a full time character designer.
You may call me either Bren or Bumu. I'm bilingual, and a gender apathetic tomboy in my 30's, people usually use She/Her pronouns for me.
I own many OCs, 95% of them are designed by me, and a good chunk of these are on my Toyhou.se hidden away for my own comfort.

Mystery Custom Design Commissions
I do custom design commissions but with the twist that you won't know the outcome until it's done! You can choose the prompt and provide me examples/references, and once you see the result you can choose between keeping the design or 'reroll' up to two times and I will gladly give it another go for you ♡These are usually not first come first serve when Mystery Customs are open, meaning I'll accept the prompt that I like the most. I prefer designing canine characters, and you may send me a list of prompts and let me choose for higher chances to get a slot.
You will get a rendered flat-color fullbody feral character design, based on a small prompt or images.
Openings happen sporadically, announced mostly on my Discord Server.
Currently priced at 275 USD flat via Paypal.
I will show you a messy colored WIP for approval before rendering.
You may ask for a palette bar and/or text.
Turn around time can be up to two months.
Rejected designs will be sold as adoptables.

Payment and Refunds
The main payment method is Paypal, and optionally Ko-fi if asked. I can arrange a Paypal invoice in the case you don't own an account and would like to pay with a bank card.
All my prices are stated in United Stated Dollars (USD).
When I'm ready to accept payment, I will hand you a Paypal.me link. Payment is always upfront for both adoptables and custom commissions.Payment in full is preferred, however I might accept payment plans with a downpayment first, usually a minimun of ~40% of the total and for a couple of weeks maximun. Holds of commission slots and adoptables are possible for short periods of time, up to a week, without downpayment.Holds and payment plans are not always automatically accepted, but always welcome to be discussed.Adoptables are non-refundable in any way, shape or form. Commissions may be refunded in total when asked if no progress has been made, or partially if it's started yet not beyond the lineart process. In case of a refund with already started progress, the art may be used for any other purposes I decide. I may issue a refund if I'm unable to finish your commission, or if the terms fo service has not been respected.Waiting times heavily vary due to health reasons, and communication is encouraged and welcome. Usually, turn around times are from a day or two up to eight weeks. I will indicate on social media if there's a situation keeping me away from my work, such as injuries or sickness.

Personal and Commercial Use
When sharing my art and uploading on sites such as Toyhou.se, within the permission of ownership of the character, credit is to be given as bumusenpai. No need to credit however in the case of usage of profile pictures, banners and similars, yet it's appreciated.I do not consent for my art and designs to be used as NFTs, training for AI, reposted without credit, subject of comercial use or merchandise without previous discussion, and being traced, stolen, copied, or be claimed as your own.I do consent however for my art to be slighly edited by it's rightful owners. This entails small fixes, recolors, effects, background edits and similars. You need to retain my original, unedited artwork at all times, specially when it comes to character galleries on Toyhou.se.Both my artworks and designs do not come with commercial rights. I.e, they don't come with the permission of legal usage for monetary gain and replication, such as printing on T-shirts, mugs, stickers or other products.They do come however with personal use permission, which you can make personal merchandise that you will use yourself and share with friends.Commercial rights can be purchased for a high fee, the pricing heavily depends on the exact usage for the artwork and/or design itself. We need to have a open discussion of the desired commercial rights and it's details for further information.Permission for mass producing artwork for a non-profit reason needs to be discussed beforehand.My designs and art cannot be used or edited in a way that is linked to the support of harmful speech or actions. Design Policy and Values
Character designs, mandatory when acquired, are transferred via Toyhou.se, its profile created from my account bumusenpai. If you do not own an account, I can provide a free code.A design of mine must have a Toyhou.se profile created by me in order to be considered official. Exceptions to this are years old designs that originally were sold outside Toyhou.se, which in this case the ownership needs to be confirmed legitimate with proof, and therefore made or created into an official profile by me.Official character profiles on Toyhou.se can be hidden, however these shall not be deleted nor duplicated. There can be just one official profile per design, even in the case of co-ownership. Trading non-official profiles will be considered attempts of theft or scam.Character designs can be sold, traded, or gifted, even immediatelly after acquisition. It's original artwork and design by me, or by my collaboration partners if applicable, must be within it's profile visible at all times.A design can be redesigned without restrictions, even to it's description, items, colors and species. It must retain the original, unedited artwork still. The redesigned version can be sold, traded or gifted as a separate character only with my expressed permission, if I deem it highly disimilar.When advertising a character for sale or trade that has been redesigned, the interested person needs to be aware of the original design.When it comes to trading, a "swap" refers to trading characters of the same designer without taking value differences in consideration nor manipulating the values of each character. Trading characters of the same designer with extras (money, art, etc) is just considered a regular trade, for terminology. Both are of course completely fine with my designs.Character designs must be sold for no more than it's accurate worth. This worth is based on it's original sold value, plus the artworks attached to this character on it's official Toyhou.se profile. Original sold value is stated in the 'ownership' tab on the character's profile as well.For example, if a character of a value of 50 USD is traded for a character of a value of 100 USD, the first character retains the value of 50 USD and the second character retains its value of 100 USD. That same goes for swaps, the value doesn't change. To summarize, all trades are without adding additional value to the character's worth.Additionally, in the case of a design sold for a higher price than it's original worth, yet not because of the person listing the design itself but for the person interested to acquire the design offers a higher monetary amount, that doesn't up the value of the character. For example, if a listed character worth 50 USD is sold to an individual who offered, on their own accord, 75 USD, this does not mean the character value is now 75 USD. The character in question remains at a value of 50 USD, to avoid worth inflation.Characters obtained by raffles or gifts, from me or other individuals, can be sold for money, calculated by it's worth due to its artworks, only with my expressed permission. The interested person must be aware it was previously a gift.If you traded for a character that was previously gifted, you may sell this character for their worth.In case of a character having physical artworks attached to it's worth (ie. traditional art, fursuit parts, physical merch, etc), those artworks must be mailed to the new owner if requested. Otherwise, those should not be added to the character's value.Personal art can count to the worth of the character if desired, but you must not inflate your prices. The worth of the artwork must be accurate to your commission prices, or a fair value if you do not have commission prices.Artwork from art trades count towards the worth. The monetary value is calculated based on the artist of the artwork commission prices.

Auction Rules and Etiquette
When a character design auction is open, typically displayed on both Instagram and Toyhou.se simultaneously, valid bids are those under the replies of the "Reply here to bid!" comment of mine, and one must reply to the previous highest bid. I will manually cross the bids so they mirror each other on both socials.Bids must follow the specific auction bid values, detailed in the description of each individual auction. Acronyms refer as to Starting Bid (SB), Minimun Increase (MI), and Autobuy (AB).Interactions between bidders must be respectful at all times. Harassment, insults or passive aggressiveness are not tolerated and your bid can be deleted.If you need to retract your bid, you must let me know beforehand with a valid understandable reason of the decision. Deleting bids without prior notice is not allowed.When an auction ends, typically between 24 and 48 hours after it has been open, the person with the highest bid will be notified. Payment must be done within 24 hours since the notice, otherwise the second highest bid will be deemed as the winner. If you suddenly need more than 24 hours, you may let me know stating a valid reason and I will extend the time if I'm able.In the case of bidding with a payment plan or hold in mind, you must discuss with me before placing your bid. Once your payment plan or hold has been approved, your bid has to reflect it. I.e, for a bid of 100$, it must be stated as "100$ with a hold/payment plan" or in a similar wording. Long holds (10+ days) do require a down payment.Autobuys, when placed, automatically close the auction. In the case of several autobuys in a short time frame, the winner will be decided in a first come basis. Autobuy tickets do not have priority over regular autobuys and viceversa. Autobuys with payment upfront have priorty over holds or payment plans, in the same case of the short time frame.I may consider your bid invalid in the case of the person having a record of hateful opinions or dangerous behaviour, such as transphobia and scamming.

Q. Do you ever accept art, customs or characters for adoptables?
A. Not really, auctions specially are money only. Rarely I accept art as an add-on with flatsales or OTAs.
Q. Do you allow preclaims on designs?
A. Not to the public, I only let a couple of close friends to preclaim my adoptables.
Q. Do you accept other payment methods other than Paypal?
A. Ko-fi is doable, but only these two.
Q. When do you open slots for your mystery custom design commissions?
A. Openings are not planned nor schedule, meaning they will be open when I'm available with an empty to do list. Waiting time varies and I can't give a specific date range for these.
Q. Do you do commissions that are not design work, like reference sheets?
A. Not anymore, but I raffle off an experimental piece of an existing character on Patreon every month.
Q. Would you ever do a new YCH?
A. Nope, creating YCH is not fun for me!
Q. Do you have an account where you post your non-design art?
A. There's old work on my DeviantArt, but recent art is posted on Patreon.
Q. Do you keep old art files?
A. Yes! Nearly most of them. If you need art of mine that you lost, message me.

A. Most likely yes, you may ask for it.
Q. Art is missing on my design of yours, are you able to help me find it?
A. Depends, I'm glad to help and it's possible, but it's a case by case scenario.
Q. Is your blacklist visible anywhere?
A. Yes, it's on the "Design Terms of Use" section in the ownership tab on any of my designs on Toyhou.se.
Q. May I ask why (this person) is currently on your blacklist?
A. Mostly it's due to breaking terms of service, but rarely it can be for other reasons, like heavy toxic behaviour.
Q. Can you make a design like one you have done before for me?
A. If you are asking me to make a carbon copy of a design of mine or by other artists, I won't.
Q. Can I copy or reference your Terms of Service of Frequently Asked Questions?
A. Yeah you can! I did all this text by myself with the help of wonderful artists, go ahead.
Permissions
Q. Can I reference your art?
A. As long as it's not a copy, go ahead!
Q. Can I mimic your style for fun?
A. For fun or personal use you may mimic the style, you must ask permission beforehand for each artwork that you desire to make. You cannot make any profit from this however.
Q. Can I colorpick your art?
A. A couple of colors is fine but all my designs people see out there are not owned by me, so I don't fully allow it to respect the owners.
Q. Can I print your art, make keychains, etc. for personal use?
A. If you own the OC, yes of course!
Q. Can I design a character or adoptable inspired by your work?
A. Yes of course! As long as it's not a copy, inspiration is welcome.
Q. Can I edit your art if I own the character, like an adoptable I just got from you? (Filters, crops, recolors)
A. Yes, I don't mind! Just keep the original and/or state that you did changes on it.
Q. Can I edit a design that I own?
A. Yes! You can even change the species or colors. Just keep the original artwork visible on Toyhou.se.
Q. Is it ok if I have a character designed by you that is a shapeshifter?
A. Yes, if the character has several transformations that are the same design but in different species it's alright!
Q. Can we do an art trade?
A. I only do trades with very close friends.
Q. Can we do a collab adoptable?
A. You may ask if we are very long time friends/mutuals, but usually I ask first.
Q. Can I bid privately on your auctions?
A. Absolutely, just message me!
Q. Can I ask you on changes for old artwork or designs you made?
A. If it's minor changes, sure!
Q. Can I draw your fursona Bumu hanging out with my characters?
A. Yes, she loves company!
Q. Can I get a design of yours and sell it as a premade fursuit?
A. Yes! Just credit me.
Ownership
Q. Do I have to authorize you on Toyhou.se if I own a design of yours that is currently hidden?
A. You can, it is preferred but not mandatory!
Q. Do you allow co-ownership of your designs?
A. Yes, but I don't allow duplicate profiles for a character.
Q. Would you do more official Toyhou.se profiles for a single co-owned design?
A. I won't do new profiles for the character in question to avoid confusion and problems if the owners ever want to trade, sell or gift it away.
Q. I own a character designed by you that doesn't have an official Toyhou.se profile, what should I do?
A. Show me proof of ownership and I can make an official profile for the design.
Q. How do I find or calculate the full value of a design?
A. The original value it was sold for it's stated in the ownership log on it's Toyhou.se profile. For calculating the value, you may check the "Design Policy and Values" section of the terms of service.
Q. If I get a character by doing a mixed offer (art, money, another character, etc), what happens to its value?
A. The only way to up the value of a character is by the art attached to it.
Q. What's the base worth of the original Mystery Custom designs you did when you were offering them on Patreon?
A. 150~175 USD give or take.
Q. How does commercial ownership work?
A. This is well more detailed in my Terms of Service, but basically you need to discuss with me beforehand and purchase these specific ownership rights.
Personal
Q. When did you start drawing?
A. I did traditional art or with a mouse on and off as a kid, but I started to draw with a drawing tablet in late 2017.
Q. Where do you draw on?
A. On PC! I use a Wacom Intuos Draw, an old CTL-490 to be specific.
Q. Which drawing program do you use?
A. Paint Tool Sai 2, in particular the 2017.08.20 version.
Q. How do you come up with your ideas?
A. I try to stick to what I enjoy drawing so it's the most enjoyable to design as possible. Generally, I have a rough idea of what I want to draw, ie. orca dog, emo wolf, alien cat... and just go for it. I can't visualize well so I just improvise, which is the fun part of designing for me.
Q. Where do you find the color palettes you use?
A. I do them myself, just a ton of messing with opacities and the color sliders.
I recommend colors.co if you need help!
Q. How long does it take you to finish owed art?
A. Around 4 months give or take but sometimes less.
Q. Is your to do list public?
A. Not anymore, it used to be public on my Trello but now it's an inactive account.
Q. Did you ever draw a (species/theme)?
A. You can check on my custom design examples or ask in my Discord server! Me and the community are happy to help.
Q. Is there any plans you will draw (species/theme)?
A. I don't really plan what I design, so I couldn't tell you. Sometimes I do have sketches lying around my files that I take and draw on after some time, but I can't promise what kind of designs I will be making soon.
